San Antonio Aquarium
Are you excited for the San Antonio Aquarium coming to town this year?!? The Aquarium is being built now and is scheduled to open this December (2014). I can’t wait!
The San Antonio Aquarium is going to 50,000 sq ft which is double the size of the one in Austin. So you know it’s going to be cool. They are going to have a lot of different species of animals including:
- Warm and cold water fish
- Sharks and Stingrays
- Various exotic birds
- A Giant Pacific Octopus
- A rainforest area with reptiles and amphibians
- and it looks like a lot more….even a mermaid area? Sweet.
The San Antonio Aquarium will even be able to hold events like Weddings and Receptions, Birthday parties and of course school field trips.
My family and I are very excited to check out the aquarium once it opens in December. Especially since they will be offering annual passes for 50% off making them a little less than $30! The passes come with unlimited admission and lots of discounts including the gift shop, for guest passes and camps. See below for all the details.
The Aquarium is located off Bandera Rd in the Leon Valley area. So just to the north and west of town right outside loop 410. See address info above or the map for the location.
